Dear Fellow Travel Enthusiast,
A warm welcome to Coastal Discoveries. We’re a small business located in a small town on the coast of Maine that designs, manages and leads exceptional educational travel programs for adults. We love to travel, learn, meet new people and, along the way, laugh. If you enjoy the same, we invite you to come discover with us.
Take a look at our signature Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel) programs that focus on regional studies that explore local art, culture, history and architecture. Our Road Scholar Adventures Afloat study cruises are great fun — they take place on small ships that offer family–style meals and on-board historians. Beginning in 2010, we’ll be offering several new programs and workshops under our own banner in Europe and right here in the great state of Maine. Regardless of where and when you join us, we promise:
